"Wonder Lands" National Theatre Scotland Documentary Now Available to Watch
Wonder Lands is a participatory art project fusing cycling and theatre making. At its core sits the question: how can we cultivate a state of wonder from which to make new work?
Through exploring of the Forth and Clyde Canal by bike, participants have discovered wonder within their local landscape, using their connection to nature as inspiration to generate ideas. Wonder Lands is the outcome of Roisin McLinden’s Community Artist Residency with National Theatre Scotland as part of The Neighbourhood Project and SiMY Community Development.
A short documentary film produced and directed by Humble Film productions illustrating the creative process of Wonder Lands was screened at Pinkston Watersports 10th Birthday Gala before being available to the public on the National Theatre Scotland website.

Walt Disco Release New Track Jocelyn
Walt Disco have released another single from their upcoming album ‘Unlearning’.
Speaking of the track, singer Jocelyn has said, it’s “about recognising the version of yourself that you love. And it’s not always easy to have that be the one that faces the world. Lyrically, it’s a dream-like internal conversation between my mother and I, from small talk to mannerisms I’ve had since childhood. Such conversations come to mind when you change your name and gender; but it doesn’t erase these memories. I hope to live in a world where parents can allow themselves to understand the upset they may feel when a child makes this decision but can love and support them all the same.”
“Everyone has a side of themselves that at some point, or maybe always, they feel they need to keep hidden away,” the band have added. “This track explores the isolation of hiding a part of yourself and the euphoria of the times when you can let it out. The despairing lyrical matter of the verses opens into the joyous choruses, it’s meant to feel transformative to represent the idea of leaving your shame in the past and finding the strength to start anew.”

BASIL PANAGOP RETURNS WITH NEW SINGLE "CANDLELIGHT"
Berlin-based artist Basil Panagop returns with "Candlelight”, the new single accompanied by a Humble produced video which premiered today over at Oculate.
"Candlelight" serves as a sequel to Panagop's previous single "Plantain," delving into the aftermath of self-destructive behaviours. The lyrics portray the mind's tendency to romanticize past moments even after parting ways with a partner, leading to desperate attempts to break the silence.
Releasing with visuals showcasing Basil and friends enjoying a drink under candlelight with flickering flashbacks as he reminisces on previous love affairs.
'6AM' features three interconnected themes that span a 24-hour time sequence, starting and ending at 6 AM. The narrative unfolds as the album progresses, mirroring the journey from waking up to the evening, ultimately concluding with "Morning Voodoo" as the sun rises. "Candlelight" fits into this intricate storytelling structure, representing a specific moment in the sequence.
Having played numerous shows, showcases, and festivals across Europe, including Endless Summer, The Great Western, Future Echoes, and New Skool Rules, Basil Panagop has established himself as a dynamic performer. With live plans for 2024, he continues to captivate audiences with his introspective and genre-blending music.
